Barbara Young, Domestic Worker & Member, Steering Committee of Domestic Workers United

Barbara is a domestic worker and a member of the Steering Committee of Domestic Workers United, an organization of nannies, housekeepers and elderly caregivers in New York organizing for power, respect, fair labor standards and to help build a movement to end exploitation and oppression for all. She leads membership basebuilding efforts for the organization, and has served as a key leader in the campaign to pass the Domestic Workers Bill of Rights in New York.
