Rev. Dr. Jonipher Kwong, Interfaith Organizer, California Faith for Equality

Rev. Dr. Jonipher Kwong is an Interfaith Organizer for California Faith for Equality. Ordained with the Metropolitan Community Church, Rev. Kwong is also in the process of seeking plural standing with the Unitarian Universalist Association. He earned his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Claremont School of Theology in Southern California. Rev. Kwong has been the minister of two churches and was the founder of two young adult groups. He has also been the Executive Director of the Counseling & Spiritual Care Center of Hawai'i and is a member of the American Association of Pastoral Counselors. Rev. Kwong also serves on the board of the California Council of Churches and the Steering Committee of Asian Pacific Islander Equality--Los Angeles.
