Sara Campos

Sara Campos is an East Bay lawyer and writer. After almost seventeen years of public interest law, first representing migrants in Eastern Washington, followed by twelve years directing the Asylum Program of the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights in San Francisco and three years of policy and litigation with the National Immigration Law Center, during which time she also taught refugee law at Golden Gate University and USF, Sara began pursuing her life long dream of writing fiction. She is currently an M.F.A. candidate at Mills College and is working on a novel that begins with the Spanish Civil War and ends at the beginning of the civil war in Guatemala.
