Skip Horack is currently a Wallace Stegner Fellow in the Stanford University Creative Writing Program. His fiction has appeared in The Southeast Review, New Delta Review, Louisiana Literature, The Southern Review, StoryQuarterly and elsewhere. He holds a B.A. from Florida State University in English/Creative Writing, as well as a J.D. law degree. Prior to accepting the Stegner Fellowship, he practiced law for five years in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. As an attorney, he primarily specialized in civil litigation and health care law.
